

Oliver Gelleni

Oliver has been in film production for seven years in a variety of genres and formats, as well as worked as an educator in Kona, Hawaii teaching production and film history. Through Cockroach Studios he has produced two independent feature films with international teams. This experience has inspired a leadership style of serving his teams by building the right framework and allowing their creativity to flourish organically.


Joshua S. Bischof

Before beginning his career in filmmaking, Joshua S. Bischof spent much of his life traveling and working on humanitarian aid missions in Asia. Through this work and travel he developed a passion for telling authentic human stories, and then took that passion to film school in Kona, Hawaii. After completing film school he taught in the school for two years, mentoring students in writing, producing, directing, and editing their short films.

While in Hawaii Joshua wrote and directed numerous short films and worked on a number of feature films such as The Heart of Man and the award-winning Midori in Hawaii. These experience taught him that skilled craftsmanship can create a film that outshines its budget.

Recently he wrote and directed two independent international feature films: The award-winning documentary Burn With Us and our upcoming Zwielichts Pilgrim. Through these and his future films, Joshua aims to tell stories that bring cast and crew together as collaborators, to create art that both challenges and elevates audiences.


Kanoa D. Reid

Kanoa has over 10 years of experience specializing in the camera department for both narrative and documentary filmmaking, as well as television, commercial, and corporate video products. He has credits on several dozen short and feature film projects including "The Wild Reckoning," "Running for Grace (Dir. David L. Cunningham), "Midori in Hawaii" (Dir. John Hill), and "Hold the Pass." He was also Director of Photography on the indie feature film, "Zwielichts Pilgrim" (Dir. Joshua S. Bischof) which was shot entirely on location in Berlin, Germany.
